Dr. Beth Oakley is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Neurodevelopmental Sciences in the Department of Forensic and Neurodevelopmental Sciences, Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London. Beth’s research focuses on candidate mechanisms that may explain high rates of co-occurring mental health symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression) that particularly impact neurodivergent populations (e.g., autism, ADHD); with a focus to develop more effective and accessible interventions for these mental health problems. She has extensive experience coordinating international, multi-site biomarker discovery studies (AIMS2Trials). She has effectively coordinated data acquisition and harmonisation across multiple international sites. She has extensive experience overseeing ethics applications from multiple countries/ethics bodies (including UK NHS ethics) as well as mid-term and end-of-year reporting for multi-site international studies.
