Dear Colleagues and IMPACT Network Partners,
Welcome to the inaugural ARIA IMPACT Investigators Summit here in Washington, D.C. We are honored to have you join us at this pivotal moment as we officially launch the IMPACT Network. Aligning Research to Impact Autism (ARIA) was founded with a singular, urgent mission: to accelerate the understanding and treatment of profound autism through alignment, collaboration, and cutting-edge research. For too long, the individuals and families that the IMPACT Network is built to serve have been largely excluded from the research landscape. We are here this week to change that structural absence and move from the “why” of our mission to the “how” of its execution.
Our primary objective this week is integration and operational alignment. The IMPACT-Ready Study is the cornerstone of our work, but its success depends entirely on its implementation across your sites. We are here to ensure that every team leaves this meeting with a clear “Site Success Roadmap”. By integrating your expertise into the ARIA Ecosystem, we are building a coordinated environment designed to bridge the gap between discovery and translation.
We are committed to providing the resources and centralized services—from genomic sequencing to a robust Data Coordinating Center—necessary to make this large-scale infrastructure a success. We recognize the complexity of multi-site clinical research, which is why the Clinical Coordinating Center (CCC) is designed to be your primary support engine.
To ensure an impactful discussion, we ask that you adhere to these rules of engagement:
We are not just building a dataset; we are building a collaborative community. Thank you for your steady hand and commitment to this field-level transformation. We look forward to the breakthroughs we will achieve together.
With collaboration and hope,
